Attended the Music of Square Enix concert yesterday. What I really liked about it was that it shown a spotlight on some of SE/Square’s respected but not as hugely popular IPs like Final Fantasy/Nier/Kingdom Hearts etc. They were absolutely there, don’t get me wrong, but hearing music from Octopath/

The fact that they didn’t modernise the art style into something that would appeal to modern gamers, and just slightly updated the models but retained that ps1 looks is great. More companies should do this.
