Post from NextDoor by Tom Wieder: Here's the deal, folks. That sign is in front of my house. About two weeks ago, a car pulled into my driveway and drove up to my house. A woman got out of the car, opened the trunk, took out the sign and put it on my front porch. I certainly didn't ask for it, since I m an enthusiastic Yousef supporter. Then, I noticed that the two Yousef signs that I had placed up near the road had disappeared, as well as one directly across the street on my neighbor's yard. The Taylor campaign gave me that sign to make a statement, and I did, just not the one they wanted. There have a number of reports of people finding Taylor signs planted on their lawns that they didn't ask for. Taylor's campaign says that they only did this where the residents had supported Taylor in the past. I wasn't aware that supporting a candidate is one of those automatically renewing subscriptions that you have to fight to get stopped.

Postgraduate NextDoor: thanks, you get your wish and I just ordered a Yousef sign like many of my neighbors have. I was leaning towards Chris but the personal attacks by you and other people on here made me decide otherwise.

I hear often from restaurant staff who miss the energy of a busy lunch crowd, and I think supporting small businesses and creating welcoming shared spaces is part of bringing that vibrancy back. Many of us asked the DDA to offer two hour free parking to support that effort. I would pick lunch at any of those establishments as they all add a facet of uniqueness to our culinary landscape.

This concert. When I asked the principal why the school would host it she said it was educational. When I mentioned it at the BOE meeting Superintendent Parks said they weren't hosting it and she didn't know anything about it. (I'd already emailed her and the BOE).

AAPS can't get their act together to pay their teachers fairly. And now school-level admin is asking for parents to be scabs during contract negotiations. We need solidarity with teachers, don't do this. #a2schools #a2boardofed #a2council
