Most of these Tempest IIs were later refurbished & sold to India & Pakistan. This type really shows the Sea Fury origins.

#histscalemodels #scalemodels #SeaFury Trmptr SeaFury kit had such bad reviews figured may as well take a swing! The wingfold is crap! Get a wing fold set if u care. Gear doors needed help 4 inflight display. Wings needed brass pins to align them then CA glue & sanding, primer. About 4 hours 🙂

Cmdr Fuchida, overall strike leader, a/c piloted by Lt Mituo Matuzaki during the Hawaii operation, first wave. Built straight from the box. The markings are painted. Stencils & tail code are decals.

Topside green was brush painted at sea. Each carriers B5Ns had differing interpretations to this end.

It suffered losing bits, decals peeling☹️ Restored 2003. This was my IJN grey brown then. Brush pnted canopy, markings are IJN Soryu matching my A6M.

It crashed on Kaneohe killing Lt Lida. ❤ building this kit & I'm pleased with the overall accuracy of the build & color!🙂
