Brilliant French serial killer thriller, wish it talked about more! Also fun to see Vincent Cassell use some of his capoeira skills at one point.

Stunningly animated, incredibly thoughtful and complex with some fantastic action.
How I see and feel about this one changes as I get older, in a good way!
My fave film noir. Filled with a smouldering tension that lingers long after watching. Rita Hayworth has the best character entrance of all time.

Had to hit up Edinburgh since all 3 Glasgow screenings seemed to line up with work, but it's finally tiiime!
I wanted to love Ninja Scroll, a lot of it is fantastic but I couldn't stand how the female lead is portrayed and treated. Just utterly shit nonsense in that department.
Rewatched Triangle after seeing it when it first came out, still good shit! Fantastic atmosphere, wraps itself up really nicely in the end too. Christopher Smith would rock a Silent Hill adaptation.
Finally. A man who understands the power of a good pair of thighs.
Never knew I needed to see Wu Jing and Nicholas Tse full on wuxia fight in a sandstorm. Just absolute magic. Perfectly paced, excellent cast and top tier action and fights. Made for the biggest screen you can find.
Forgot how much of a punch in the gut this one is. Beautiful but goddamn that ending.
