Humboldt SK-the big annual diabetes fundraiser & marathon kick off. I accepted the challenge to run first 4 miles after the banquet & right before our 1st set. Ran, Quick cold shower, put on my suit, up to the piano & sweated through the set 😂🎹. All to raise funds for finding a cure for T1 diabetes!

This was a good read! Kind of old-ish(2012) but I've had it in a stack forever & wanted to give it a whirl. Lots of insight into the inner workings of newsrooms & the media circus. Everyone remembers Lloyd from anchoring on CTV but he started at CBC (6yrs) then made the leap! I'd recommend this

Holy smokes we get married in 2 months! Thoughtful gal Andrea Stewart in Cutknife SK sent us this beautiful afghan she made us as a wedding gift! 2 main colours (1 for each of us/also our wedding colours). This cracked me up! At my holiday show in Yorkton these 2 brought me gifts: 1 brought ginger cookies & 1 brought butter tarts (SO good!). I joked in the 2nd set that those could be their nicknames. Fast fwd-they came to my concert in Regina last week wearing these tshirts - haha I love this so much!

This Saturday May 30 5-7pm I'm playing 2 sets at the 5th annual Prairie Fest in Outlook Saskatchewan-Free admission.
