Second post I’ve seen today fr this OP that cites no source for their claim. In this case, the claim's false. Social media has a problem w/ ppl just making stuff up- I’m sure we’ve all been fooled at some point. We’re not f-ing MAGA- be sure to check out accuracy before reposting stuff.
Hey, genius Econ. Democracy, in the narrative the DSA directed people to read, re: endorsement for CA governor, it says:
Are you truly unable to see that when a billionaire’s company donates to a PAC that's pro-B ecerra, that means they want him to win bc that candidate will protect their interests? Like you really can’t see that, P.?
A recent very accurate poll shows us it’s a three-way b/t Steyer, Becerra and Hilton. (Not all polls are equally trustworthy- many are funded by political campaigns & PACs, or other partisan groups trying to sway public opinion.) This one is by accredited pollster Emerson.
Heads up CA ! You may've seen the info circulating (on FB esp.) that purports to be Heather Cox Richardson telling people to wait to vote. It's been debunked by AG Rob Bonta & election officials; Cox Richardson says she didn’t write it. Bonta gives accurate info. on when to mail in ur ballot:
This is exactly the ‘how to find a valid poll’ explanation we all need right now. There’ve been so many polls, all showing different results, bc not all polls are equally valid. @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social shared on FB. Excellent explanation of how to determine if a poll is more or less accurate.
SEIU CA has endorsed both Steyer and Becerra. It’s a double endorsement. Just announced on FB.
