I dressed myself for work this morning then realized a few hours later I’d been unduly influenced by my weekend’s content.

Got word tonight that the house my great-grandfather built, that my grandmother occupied until her death in ‘21, that an uncle still lived in, has burned down. This was the last place that contained any childhood memories that I still had physical access to. I am absolutely heartbroken.
