First properly full physical days' work in months this week. Sawing, chopping and splitting logs from a huge Beech felled by Storm Goretti. Thanks to @nathannelson.co.uk for help yesterday. About 10t I reckon. More tomorrow...if I can still move. 🤣 🌱

A productive day. Finished painting the new sitting room. Got 2 sofas downstairs, 2 heavy Victorian wardrobes & bedframe upstairs by myself. Discovered wool mattress is damp & weighs more than I can manage to lift upstairs but now drying by radiator. Fire is lit. Bed is made. Wine is poured. 💪
