So, I just saw Sleepaway Camp (1983), and while I didn't particularly enjoy it, it's certainly not unmemorable. Is it transgressive? Offensive? I dunno. Either way, I welcome your paper submissions.
42 years ago today, Ghostbusters and Gremlins opened in Toronto cinemas. I wasn't there to experience the double feature phenomenon firsthand—I was still in utero—but it's fun to look back at these newspaper ads from one of the biggest movie weekends of 1984. 📽️
