Won the pub quiz by tiebreaker "what is the driving distance from Sheffield to London". I guessed 165 miles and their answer was 170. Victory tastes sweet (although I'm not actually drinking atm!)
Oof, reform only lost in our council ward election by 134 votes. Gonna have to do some tactical voting next time.

This carved grasshopper. Lots of notes on this one, from a grocers dating from 1791. Because tea shops frequently used a grasshopper symbol.

Surprised to find myself (currently) in first place on Galactic Cruise. Probably the most complex game I've played in a while. Starting to make sense now though.
First game of Airecon: Fate of the Fellowship. Surprising win (albeit on easy mode) when both Rivendell and Helms Deep were both overrun by orcs.
Back again for the fun day two doubles x-wing tournament and won 2 of the three rounds flying with my 17yo as teammate!!!
Would that every powerful man who breaks the law have this exact moment (and hopefully face further consequences)
