Latest book purchase! The SFF genre lacks a healthy amount of furry novels, so I am delighted that @aptshadow.bsky.social is helping to correct this scandalous oversight.

Someone brought this to a family gathering, and while I am not a whiskey drinker...this was pure nectar from the gods. Every last drop was savoured.

Tahtivaeltaja, the Finnish SF magazine have dedicated a third of their latest issue to me: an interview, a full review of the Common Saga, and a reprinting of my story "Stars in A Grave, Stars in a Skull" with very cool artwork, all in Finnish. Immensely grateful!

The Australian premier of Backrooms was a lot of fun. There's some truly ingenious film making on display here, with one long sequence that genuinely gave me chills. Perfect analog horror with a big budget with genuine depth to the characters.

My author copies of Wolfskin have arrived! All three books in my first trilogy are home, safe and sound. Hard to describe the feeling. But it is definitely one of immense joy.😇

Today I swung by UNSW, the uni where I studied Creative Writing and Film Studies a decade ago, hoping to have my work published one day, only to find copies of Wolfskin on the uni bookshelf stores. All copies were left signed of course. Feels good to have come full circle.

Hey so my third book came out this week, but I'm recovering from major hand surgery (bone extraction) so my ability to promotion online is severely hindered. If you all can help spread the word about my feral space opera trilogy, I'll love you forever.

I did a little signing tour in Sydney today, starting with the awesome Kinokuniya Sydney. Thank you so much to all the staff, especially Alice and Eileen, for allowing me to come in! Also, Stormblood is still being stocked there even after 5 years. Awesome to see!

Since the first COVID lockdown, me and my folks have been running a little plant nursery. I never imagined that I'd enjoy taking care of plants and all of their little green friends, but I do. I enjoy it immensely. :)

Wolfskin is (finally!) dropping in one week, concluding the Common Saga! Personally, I'm really excited. 😁

It is done. I am now minus one pisiform bone. I asked if they could let me keep the bone as a momento. They did not. Disappointing, but at least I've got 205 more of them. Although I'd personally prefer that I keep them on the inside of my body for now.
