It really is. To be honest I’m usually working on surface ships and slowly getting into the U-boat war. I’ve heard good things about this though and the author seems a decent chap from interactions I’ve had with him.

8 June 1940, the German battleships Scharnhorst & Gneisenau encountered the carrier Glorious with her escorts Ardent & Acasta. After a one sided battle that saw Scharnhorst taking torpedo damage the Germans withdrew having sunk all three British ships killing 1500 men. #history #navalhistory #ww2

The SS Longscar was stopped in the Bay of Biscay by SM UC-21 ( Oblt z See Reinhold Saltzwebel). The vessel was stopped and searched before demolition charges were set. Two gunners were taken captive whilst the rest of the crew were released in lifeboats. #navalhistory #ww1 #history

There was a misspelling of Jerjerrod in some of the merchandise/games back in the 90s and that was the Star Wars character I settled on a username. We have the same management style and haunted/harassed look!
#otd 1915 Walter Schwieger made a fatal decision and opened fire on a four stacker liner of the Irish coast. Some 1199 people died in the sinking of RMS Lusitania. Orders were issued to all U-boat captains to not target liners in future in the midst of the political fallout.
