At least the wind has died down, but wind from the north/northwest is not good. More fuel for the Sinlahekin Fire. To my friends in Okanogan county stay safe!

Hubby & I are staying indoors till the smoke breaks. We bought this for the Cub Creek 2 fire back in 2021. It works, it’s expensive, but you can breathe & your home doesn’t smell like smoke. Link in alt text.

Drove back home to Okanogan County. Cost of gas in California, Oregon & Washington. Oregon has the best prices!
I paid cash for gas today & got a discount! Instead of $6.49/gallon, we paid $6.19/gallon. Carrying $100 bills now!
The price of gas is ridiculous & this was 2 days ago. Gas in Merril, OR. Gas in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
Here’s the price of tomatoes in Seattle @ Fred Meyer’s in June 2025. Tomatoes are up much more than 15%.
