Amateur in Blender & DJ in Second Life. My past haunts me while the future grows ever worse...and yet I still press on trying to do more than just survive. I have many problems but I'm trying to improve when and where I can, so please bare with me.
Finished the model and can finally post it here without being salty I guess. Miiiight have found interest from an LSL coder I forgot was a coder, unsure yet.
Not done yet but getting there. Did some optimizations/cleaning and fighting with normal. Need to figure out if I feel like adding sights and a port for the dart to go into but that's all superfluous for an RP prop/toy in SL. May just do UVs, textures and call it done, donno yet. #SecondLife #B3D
Instructions unclear spent 24h+ converting old projects that will probably never be finished into new projects that will never be finished instead of SL screenshot.
It really sickens and saddens me that I've found over the last 2ish years that /everyone/ has adopted GenAI in music both inside and outside of SL. Meanwhile it's no surprise to me that a dime a dozen "DJ" in SL is doing this unfortunately, as a lot of them have been using GenAI for adverts/logs too
This just made me do a double take on something I'm updating and...damn. Worst part is due to certain limitations I'm stuck with I can't really go bellow 2k for a lotta things without it looking abysmal. So FML I guess? ( ._.)
And my hatred for 99% of people who "make" anything for SL fucking grows.....that is one face. Best part? They fucking made it to where you have to buy the fatpack to get modify perms AND THEN put an anti-rez script. Why? Probably to keep you from modding it to find out!

A bit of progress being made, I won't go into details just yet still but I'm getting back into developing the Whaleback again and have finished these two buildings sans a few minor details (the windows on the building are finished but I didn't feel like placing them 1 by 1 in Blender for the render)
Working on a thing, won't say what yet but resumed work on the Whaleback will follow after. Expect both to be done in time for the Summer Sailstice in SL...hopefully. #SecondLife #B3d
Not sure what to do with my life at the moment. Thinking of quitting DJing but then what? And it seems like an avenue I should leave open. Plus it feels like I'd be letting all the people who have hurt me, this year, last and the year before win? Idk, I'm about ready to give up everything lately.
