Positively bedeviled with meetings, etc. Sondheim approved. Ándale pues.
I would have put money on this scenario before I even read it. Always interested in controlling and violating women. Always.
The latest delight after switching to an EV: when I bought it, the car was supposed to have a max range of 307 miles. Last night while charging, the range went north of 330. The car is getting *better* 🤯. An ICE could never. *100% charging bc I have a road trip
Yes! An MS and a PhD in Dairy Management, specializing in food microbiology. Look at this fun ad from 1956 in one of his professional publications.
The lightening speed at which me and my girls have adopted Jeremy Culhane’s Tucker Carlson into our everyday patterns should be studied. That’s the rule. That’s the goal now.
For example: no AI would allow me to make myself into C3PO but it would turn me into a golden protocol droid.
There’s a paragraph early in Margo’s Got Money Troubles that perfectly, painfully, describes new motherhood in its existential, excruciating detail.
Absolutely not. Bonnets were functional to shield face + neck from the sun, see slat bonnet 1-3. While some women were wearing smaller, more vertical “bonnets” by 1880s, those were fashion (see last pic) which is not the frontier situation! The still is a silly aesthetic choice, not an accurate one.
It’s been a year since I switched to an EV. I will never go back. This is the best car I’ve ever owned. My kid made a joke that it looks like a car a stormtrooper would drive. So meet the Deathstar. And just so there’s no confusion (extra confusion?) there’s a little rebel symbol on the frame.
Got to play our favorite restaurant game: who is banging in the walk-in? Works best if you’re seated at the counter and can really see who is working the floor.
Since no one asked, a ranking of my current top fragrances, most of which are unisex: 1. Hip Hop, Zernell Gillie 2. Pomelo Oolong, D’Annam 3. Red Dakota, DedCool 4. Tangerine Boy, Phlur 5. Angel Dust, Fugazzi 6. Sónar, 27 87
The best Imaginary Authors fragrance is Sundrunk. The rhubarb is slightly sharp against the neroli and honeysuckle, with the barest touch of rose. Drydown is beautiful Like wearing Chinotto.
It was In Love with Everything (what irony). Notes: Raspberry, Citrus Pulp, Coconut Palm Sugar, Tropical Punch, Sandalwood (always a tricky note for me). Beginning to think this house may not be for me…
You could join a tiny truck gang. Are tiny trucks the cure to the male loneliness epidemic??
Finally watching Peaky Blinders and can anyone explain why Grace the barmaid has hair like this in 1919 Birmingham? I should quit this show immediately—absolutely disqualifying nonsense.
I regret to inform you that this stupid looking thing really did revive my curly hair, fix the weird flat sections, and bring back volume. We might not have to do a full curly girl reset every day.
Yes! You can have Pero! It’s my favorite of the not-coffee options and is available in most grocery stores. It’s malted barley, chicory, and rye. I’d also suggest Perk since they have lots flavors, but you’d have to check labels since some of them may have a fake milk or fruit (but only some!)
Mark Zuckerberg’s hair is just part of his relaxed new vibe! He sleeps well at night, unbothered by the massacres of the Rohingya Meta enabled and the future certainty of other massacres. Misinformation is just RELAXED NEW VIBES!!
