After 5 years of not washing my work pants, I slid out of them and threw them away! They made it through so many projects: 3 #chickencoops and 2 runs, a dome greenhouse, a 26’ greenhouse, several compost bins, not to mention fixing up/winterizing my yurt.

Ok #Knitsky, I know this trick. I started a sweater before finishing the #SoftStripesWrap because I just couldn’t wait! While I’m still off a tad on my gauge I’m moving forward. I blocked it just to see how much and I’m ok. I hope it fits!😂

#Knitsky, I’ve been building a chicken coop and so haven’t had a lot of time to work on this but I am up to 48”. Last weekend I realized a major mistake (I used the wrong yarn of the two) and needed to pick up a line of stitches and cut off bottom then restitch using right fabric. #showmeyourknits

Ok Knitsky, a couple lessons: I’m not loving double strands of mohair/silk. I’m not a lace weight girl unless combined with bigger yarn. Mistakes in lace weight are a PIA to fix. 😂 I can fix it though! #showmeyourknit

Progress on the #PantaSigma greenhouse. It was FREEZING outside at times but most of it is UP! Tomorrow is all about the polycarbonate. Whew. This has been a whole thing!

I started a new one, #Knitsky. I loved doing the #DinosaurCowl so much I bought the #WoollyGiantsCowl from HuntHandKnits (same designer) on Etsy and started this weekend. I modified pattern a little to be bigger and have same pattern on bottom of cowl that is on top.

Well, it happened. After being in the yurt for about a month my cats have discovered the garden tower full of lettuce. 🥬 The cats,🐈‍⬛ Boy Kitty and Girl Kitty 🐈‍⬛, love to eat lettuce! (As evidenced by chewed lettuce at bottom of the tower.) #TowerGarden #Aeroponics #growlettuce

The chicks are here! I ordered 36 babies—4 of 9 different breeds. They got picked up, watered/fed, slept overnight in Anchorage, boxed up and flown out to here. Big days for such little girls. Now living at my niece’s until I get the coop built! #ChickensofBluesky #spring #chicks
