These are the glorious days when I sit on the back deck and soak in the vibrant colors before it all starts to dwindle away. I mean really...can you EVER have too many perennials?
Just received an update on Watch Duty...unfortunately the Akawa Butte fire grew by 5,500 acres. They are calling for 40 mph gusts and occasional thunderstorms....not good news...
I walked today at 6am with a mask on. I was still hot because it's so muggy. Reminds me of the midwest 🥴🥴 I knew I would not be able to go out later today 😩😩 You know when the rising sun is red you have to be careful. We're in the high Yellow air alert & my daughter in Bend is definitely in the Red.
Some beauty from our outside flowers was brought to me by my hubby today. I've been really sick & I immediately felt better because I knew I was loved 🥰

My sister in IL has had two friends who were diagnosed with parasite. I'm so disappointed. We had made a total lifestyle and diet change, and now it's a literal crap shoot. I was all set to buy frozen this week for items we don't have in our garden right now and I saw this about the blueberries 🥺
Well...here's part of our new "babies" from Peoria Gardens in my husband's "nursery" area 😱😱 I guess it's my fault for telling my hubby about it 🤣🤣 He went with my daughter and he gave her some flowers & the HUGE hanging basket he got for free because he dropped $100. Happy early 48th to her!
Our butterfly bush flowered for the first time...and it's multiple colors 😍 Who knew?
