Especially concerning are the cases involving Perplexity and Grok, which in some instances allowed recovery of the entire conversation via its permalink. More key findings: • Grok and Perplexity embed Meta's pixel on their websites. • OpenAI transmits data to Google Analytics.
When you use ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok, you trust that your "conversations" remain confidential between you and the AI provider. They do not. Researchers at IMDEA Networks Institute have just published a study -in which I participate- demonstrating that this assumption is false.
