Uh oh. Something odd happening with the sun. Hope it's not the jaguar god Tepēyōllōtl trying to consume it
I have two. One went from Manchester town hall and one sent from Stockport town hall. Possibly Stockport have used the wrong list?
The green man changes too quickly on pedestrian crossings. This local tree was never going to get across in time
Local funding for skills has remained flat whilst costs have increased. This doesn't just result in fewer places but it's become increasingly hard for colleges to recruit the staff needed to deliver the courses there is funding for
that's quite a large "screw the lot of you" vote in second place - appreciate though that the incumbent resigned last November and was linked to the infamous WhatsApp group
RIP Len Deighton - had a check and the only physical copy of one of his books that I still have is perhaps one of his least well known
I'm in the 2% In the British Isles I think you end up with more realistic expectations of weather if you recognise that May is in Summer, August in Autumn, November is in Winter and oh, doesn't Spring come early these days
The Schweine Museum in Stuttgart - a giant golden pig (might just fit in my living room if I move the table - a good conversation piece and I wouldn't be paranoid about damaging it)

Whilst the some of the rest of the country may be seeing snow right now the tropical 3C we're experiencing in Manchester brought 4 parakeets to the tree out the back
I think it can be translated as "the madness of..." but other interpretations are available - I think this might be more apt as well (would recommend btw)
large parts of social media are going to be worse than usual with events in the US a good time to go into settings and turn autoplay of videos off
I did well with this from @loulayorke.bsky.social on bandcamp friday. Thanks to those I follow who recommended it
Not happy to see McMahon out and I worry for devolution agreements. But "fresh start"? The election last year was the fresh start There just isn't time for new ministers to come in & learn the ropes. Decisions need to be made this month if there's going to be any change in the new financial year
These will include algorithmic tools that were being developed before the LLM frenzy and just rebranded later as AI and back office innovation often has more impact than customer facing innovation despite getting less glory
