The Dark Elf is a lot more fiddly than the Orcs, but progress on all four. Different styles going forward. Black undercoat for the Orcs and Goblins and my more "old school" approach, whereas with Elves it has to be white undercoat and more precise work. #oldhammer #warhammer #miniaturepainting

Last week was in Cornwall, absolutely loved the Eden project. Probably a good job I didn't take my camera because I could have easily spent three days taking photos.
Skin now done on the Orcs. I still have my old Windsor & Newton brushes from the 80s/90s, and a Da Vinci brush. Great brushes. Have some Citadel brushes and they're "ok", and have some others that are "meh". #warhammer #miniaturepainting #oldhammer #Orcs #moga

I am mainly, or was mainly, a high elf player, and have 3 of these. Dwarves were my second army and unfortunately, I only managed to get the one thwoppa.
I've talked a few times about my unit of 50 goblin archers in my Warhammer Fantasy army (3rd). It's not finished, but I'm getting there with it. It's a bit of a flak magnet. If they get in range though, that's a lot of dice. #warhammer #orcs #goblins #miniatures #miniaturepainting

Couple of weeks ago, I found the armoury. There was one I would have liked though, never managed to get, the Boss Metal Zone. A good friend of mine had one and it sounded bloody awesome, but truth is, it wasn't the pedal making it sound fantastic, it was him.
It's another WiP, but it's an Elf. Not just any elf. It's from Skarloc's Wood Elf Archers. I have 3 boxes, and grouped types of miniatures together. So all of the hooded elves are in one unit for example. This particular one I undercoated about 30 years ago and stopped painting. #warhammer #elf
