Shot a horror/comedy short i wrote/produced with my bestie this past weekend in VT. was the most fun I’ve had on a film set in 15 years???? grateful and exhausted #FeathersMovie 🐦🪶🩸
Back in our old home, Savannah, this weekend. Stopped by one of our favorite bars last night (same one we went to on our wedding night) and they were playing the A BETTER TOMORROW trilogy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #LoneWolfLounge
You Will Believe That a Movie Where One Man Lovingly Calls Another “Shrimp Head” Will Literally Make You Cry
TIGER ON THE BEAT (now available to rent exclusively on @letterboxd.social via #LetterboxdVideoStore!) is a hilariously batshit mashup of Buddy movie tomfoolery and John Woo-esque maximalism. This sub-subgenre can therefore only be described as… 💥 Heroic Bud-shed 💥 boxd.it/366
Incredible birthday haul from my spouse this year. (also, say hello to our curious son on the left) 📀👟🎒
Saw Lera Lynn play a photo studio in Freehold, NJ this afternoon. Band sounded amazing. Unique show!
Def missing out on some great stuff as ‘Not A Hardcore WTF Guy’ but this bit from the latest Welcome To Hell World (@lukeoneil47.bsky.social) makes me feel less bad about that
Thomas Jane. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Brion James. Jackie Earle Haley. An absolute murderer’s row of random whack-a-doos.
Not to be hyperbolic but the “BLACKSTAR Symphony” show we saw last night was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. It was certainly one of the most moving—“Where Are We Now?” is an all time fave and I was NOT expecting it to be appear on the setlist.
Saw THE WAY OF WATER re-release today. Magnificent as always. The new FIRE AND ASH trailer *and* preview scene were both just.. gobsmacking. Crazy how TWOW has the most inventive and satisfying action that I’ve ever seen, and yet, FAA is so clearly going to eat its lunch.
Finally saw my favorite movie on the big screen and got to hug the 3 brilliant artists below that I've known virtually since 2020. An incredible punctuation mark to a creative journey that started in Fall 2019. Thank you, Beyond Fest. Thank you Karyn Kusama, Phil Hay, and Matt Manfredi.
