Recent pick-up. IWC cal 853 Pelaton automatic watch with solid gold top and stainless steel back. A configuration to my knowledge unique to IWC. Practical as solid gold backs tend to suffer wear badly. Have wanted one of these for some time and this is a good 'un.
All other things being equal why is an oval pot better than a round one? Because you can much more easily cock the lid to let just the right amount of steam out...
