I have these noodles on a shelf in my basement pantry, and every time I pass them, I read the name in time to the the opening lines of "Hooked on a Feeling."

A package of Chuka Soba noodles with a red label & the curly noodles visible through the transparent plastic container. Chuka Soba very vaguely rhymes with "Ooga Chaka," the chant at the start of the Blue Swede hit, "Hooked on a Feeling." A terrible song by most accounts, but an earworm for sure. Anyway, I'm a dork, and this is my life.

While the ASPCA *does* list poinsettias as toxic to cats & dogs, they note it is “over rated” and is a mild irritant. Purdue U Dept of Botany & Plant Pathology confirms that unless eaten in huge quantities, they are only a mild irritant: ag.purdue.edu/department/b...
