To be fair, I also wanted this to be real when I was thirteen. But now I know it’s impossible; Mars doesn’t have the resources to support life.
Jon Tester’s flattop haircut sure feels like it’s saying something about his masculinity.
I got a fundraising text from Troy Jackson. He seems like the real deal; actually a logger and already a seasoned politician. I’m not a Maine resident, but I’d vote for him.
I love the crosswalk, but one unfortunate thing with the low curb is that car drivers think they can go right over them. Maybe next time we do one of these we can get some bollards to defend the pedestrian space?
Prophetic! Congrats New York, you earned it. At least we don’t have to watch Timothee Chalimet celebrate.
Mutual aid of Medford and Somerville has a program to distribute ACs and install them. www.mutualaidmamas.com
Really glad Siri is going to be integrated with home cameras, so now we can get neighborhood surveillance with the power of "Apple Intelligence". </sarcasm>
Thank you for your pedantry. Per the image, the prompt was “are you deepseek”, and the response “I think there might be a fun mix up here! 🙂” These models are trained to act like a human, and we eat it up! I’m not hating on antirez ; I am making a comment how we treat LLMs as more than textgen.
This part seems like a problem. When we sold a house in California, our realtor dealt with a tricky buyer and netted us over $50k in concessions after he placed an offer he couldn’t actually finance and the process dragged on for months. I still think human expertise is worth paying for.
She says on Instagram that she filed a trademark for her drag name, not for apparel or outdoor gear. I agree that she walked right up to the line, but the art form is built on parody. Feels like there should be fair use for the name, even if she’s not allowed to use the logo or font itself.
Seen in the TSA line at Logan’s international terminal. What’s extra galling about this, is the CPB One app was originally built to help immigrants make asylum claims. Now it’s used to encourage them to “self deport” for $1000 and some dignity. Huddled masses, fuck off!
If you had that in 2004, by now you’re Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die! And yes, I had to look up the Jethro Tull discography to make this joke.
It was so much fun last night! I got pretty chilly with the damp and wind, but the bonfire and stoke kept us going. It took us about 2:30 to do the course, more than the winner this morning!
Ah, I was confused about the defcon numbers. Maybe we can switch to the old color coded alerts to determine the threat level. How about we start at yellow? That doesn’t have any historical significance…
Also consider the single album collaboration with Wolf Parade, as the Divine Fits.
Happy Appomattox Day. Here’s some photos I took of the courthouse where the confederates surrendered. flic.kr/p/2oSQQcr
Not sure what else we can use this strip for; maybe a popup lemonade stand?
