Thrash?! Don't mind if I do!

Father of two daughters fearing the world they have to live in, software engineer with a focus on Python and Django, home brewer, cyclist, tiki and rum nerd.
This is how my kitten, Pawsy Pawsbourne, slept in my lap while I worked this morning. Nothing should be this cute and ridiculous.
I wish I could grow shishitos all year. It is a nearly daily harvest which feels like so much winning.
Cleanse your feed! Here is Pawsy Pawsbourne relaxing in my lap while I work earlier.
Pawsy Pawsbourne pics from the last couple days. When she is not being wild with zoomies, she is so sweet.
MAGA ass brewery. Also made a beer in 2025 called "Kiss the Ring" featuring Trump. I hope someone tells me I am wrong with evidence, because they do have a charity, I think mostly focused on helping veterans.
First ride today on new 50mm carbon fiber wheels. I didn't want to spend the money, but the old wheels had multiple cracks and so had to go. I went budget Hunt wheels, who had a good sale. At this level basically everything is pretty damned good, anyway.
Father's Day gifts! #rva metal and punk rules! Looking forward to driving to work on Tuesday. My car is the only cd player I have left. But it rocks hard when I get to drive it.
Making my first smoked salsa. I have made salsa nearly weekly for yeara, but for some reason never thought to do this until I saw it on /r/SalsaSnobs a few months ago. No peppers in there because I am working with last year's dried or frozen peppers.
Daughter saw some movie with friends. My awesome wife took them. She was able to get me this badass skeletor mug.
This beer is blue! Did not realize it was a smoothie style beer and so the mouthfeel was a surprise. I don't hate it, but I'm not sure I need the other 3 cans, either. #BeerSky
Holiday Sunday drink. Tiki, but just some shit I made up. Went large format and I should have actually used a larger mug. 1 oz each of lime, pineapple, and orange juice. 3/4 oz pistachio syrup, 3/4 oz each of appleton estate signature, appleton estste 12 year, worthy park 109, and lemon hart 151.
Home brewed saison. Less clear than intended. I need to work on my yeast dumping process for low flocculation yeast. Also made a mistake and used an extra 1 or 1.5lbs of malt which should have been 1lb of sugar. First beer in a decade or more of brewing which is not at least light brown.
Pretty happy with today's ride. 5 mile PR and a PR on a segment both on one of my usual routes
New 40k and 50k PR in the bike this morning! Also 1 watt off of my 2 hour average power record.
My sister is staying in a cabin in the woods in Arkansas and had a visitor.
Interesting battle tactic. But sure, let's give that a shot.
It's brew day! Been brewing for over a decade, but this is my first time brewing a saison.
What is left after 3 days. I am 6'2" to give an idea of hand size.
A Carolina Reaper may have been somewhere nearby, I guess. It does taste really good, though. And the heat, while not intense, lingers for a long time.
