So far, none of my published stories have animals that are confirmed as fully sentient in the way people are... the closest I can think of is my Chupacabra from the upcoming What Lurks anthology -who laughs & winks - suggesting possibly he understands what is being said. #HorrorWritersChat

I was shown a lot of proof of just how right-wing & AI-driven this press is. A disgruntled Raconteur author even bragged about how you listed their submission entries, as part of an effort to "infiltrate" non-right wing publishing circles. Here is a screenshot where they discuss strategy:
