Seems like it will take several bonafide miracles to shake the cloak of hubris, greed, and utter 'faithlessness' from the monsters who claim to be 'holy' yet drop bombs on innocents, starve them, murder them, steal all they own, all for the monsters' own profit.
Our blood is also the same color and most feel deep pain when acts of war, or violence of any kind, injures those we love. Most of us also feel sorrow when the blood of other innocent people, known to us or not, is spilled through violence against them. Sociopaths and narcissists like Trump don't.
If only humans had the collective ability to understand we all have one home...Earth, which was not created with artificial longitude and latitude boundaries. And to practice PEACE, kindness and the kind of equality that allows every living thing on Earth to thrive.
One of my favorite paintings I've done. Conte Crayon used with water to turn it into sepia watercolor on paper. Very much like raw sienna. I call it 'Perhaps in Rome' and could make up so many stories to go with it.
The only self portrait I've every done. Way back in 2012. Watercolor on paper.
couple of herons. One in a swamp, the other in a tree. Watercolor on paper.
For those of you who travel. Or in any other circumstance you might want to be left alone. Or just because you can't fool seniors.
My Canada is already spoken for. A beautiful letter, where a fellow Campbell Riverite speaks about what Canada means for him. I hold almost all of these images in my own memories. Thank you David Freeman for reminding me.
Alberta take note. Facebook is driving separatist movement using posts from people in other countries. Says just one thing: not content with the mayhem in his own country, it is in Mark Zuckerberg's interest to create division in our country.
A couple of my acrylic paintings. Have gone back to watercolor but might do some more acrylic. Watercolor has more surprises; acrylic is easier to 'manage'.
If anyone doubts Canada's unwavering support for innocent people caught in the crux of Trump's insane push for dictatorship and money at the expense of his own people, read this story. I've excerpted some bits but the full story is here: globalnews.ca/news/1187053...
2 from a different picture book. This one a board book for infants and toddlers, titled A Dog's Life. No words, just art, based on a black lab we had when my kids were small. Dog's name was Bouncer.
Couple of pics from one of my picture books. Text for these pages is: "4 cats who happened to see...a giraffe in a car" and "5 kittens watching 5 fish in a bowl".
HAPPY to say all of my original illustrations for these two books have a home with the Campbell River Arts Council.
My youngest granddaughter's drawings when she was 7 years old. She's too busy dancing to draw or paint much these days but I do hope she gets back to it.
Acrylic. We're all watching to see what happens next door in the U.S.A. Trump & his handlers and 'tools' (ICE for example) cannot be incarcerated fast enough for their multiple crimes. Word is, the criminal acts being committed have been in the works for decades. Not surprising. Still mind-blowing.
