The plot is that myself and my fiancé are travelling to get blessed by some king. It’s a really lovely, chill setting so far (plus of course random monsters to mash A to) with an immaculate PC Engine CD score. And the manual is a work of art - I’d love to get a physical copy 🥹 #blutoid #pcengine
My strategy at the minute is to just keep starting new games and then maybe I’ll finish one of them 😅 So this is Tenshi no Uta 1. A PC Engine CD-ROM rpg set in Ireland in the very early Middle Ages. It’s available on Switch (when you search just use no spaces in the name 😉) and it has a sequel too..

My wife got Shuna’s Journey from the library - it’s one we’ve had an eye on for a while, both of us being fans of Miyazaki. Short, light on exposition, but utterly captivating. It’s stayed with me long after reading it. Like Miyazaki condensed, but a distinct folkiness of its own. #blutoid #books
