On Saturday we held the 338th edition of Louisville’s favorite free weekly 5K. 49 runners & walkers joined us to splash around and we had tourists from the UK, South Africa & Australia. People come from all over the world to visit our little parkrun 🥹

Thanks to everyone for coming out for the first romp in the swamp of July & our first ever event falling on the 4th of July. Our 42 runners and walkers were treated to a light breeze and some watermelon at the finish. 🍉

Thanks to everyone who came out and especially to the 9 volunteers who helped us facilitate the 336th edition of Joe Creason parkrun 12 folks got their barcodes scanned for the very first time and we were also visited by a German tourist who drove all the way from Cape Girardeau the same morning!

An intimate crowd of 44 joined us this morning under near perfect conditions for mid-June. 7 parkrunners got their barcodes scanned for the very first time, and 4 walked back up the hill with new personal bests. Congrats to David S and Daniel H on their new milestones! See you all Saturday!

Like it usually does, the rain held off for Louisville’s favorite free weekly 5K. 48 runners and walkers toed the start and we were joined by visitors from the Bay Area and Western Australia. 🦘
We will never use AI to promote our event. We will earn the 4-5 likes we get on each post though sheer grit and determination.
Joe Creason número 331 went off without a hitch on Saturday save for some lingering rain. But who can pass up the prospect of getting a workout and a shower for free? Thanks to the 52 runners & walkers who came out and 9 volunteers who pitched in to make it happen. See you Saturday!

We had 60 parkrunners and a load of excellent barkrunners come out for a decadent and depraved Derby Day at Joe Creason. A massive 17 of you got new personal bests! We had tourists join us from Australia, Japan and the UK, and 15 people pitched in on the volunteer team

We had a small but mighty vollie crew for parkrun yesterday as may of our regulars were running the KDF races. Major thank you to Chris, Christina and Amanda for holding down the finish line roles, and guiding 30 runners and walkers through the finish chute.

Our 15th free weekly 5K of 2026 is coming up this Saturday at 9:00. Run/walk/jog/volunteer/vibe. Nobody finishes last and nobody is left behind. If it’s your first time meet us at the bottom of the hill at 8:45 to get a run down of the course and the finish process. And bring your dog too!

We had our 5th week of 60 or more parkrunners already in 2026. 61 runners and walkers took a token and all 61 gave it back. 12 folks joined us for the first time and 13 parkrunners walked back up the hill with new personal bests!

The 325th edition of Louisville favorite free weekly 5K went off without a hitch on Saturday. We welcomed 47 runners and walkers and enjoyed the debut of our youngest ever Run Director, Landon. He ran the ship with a steady hand and gave a wonderful run brief.
