This is the time of the year young birds mature enough to leave the nest.
Cooler conditions yesterday made playing golf bearable. Played with Linwood, Bradley, and Alick. We played good. Finished just behind first place foursome and made us happy. Lots of good putting and chipping Helped our team score.
made it through 18 holes in the heat today. Electrolytes, water, cooling towel, and a little breeze helped.

0.60” of rain Sunday. First rain our area has had in a few days. Soybeans, corn and garden crops are excited. Note our yellow my lawn is from excessive heat and lack of rain. More showers forecast today and tomorrow.

Whiteville stunned #1 in the East 3-A baseball playoff tonight. Midway will travel to the famous Legion Field in Whiteville.
I tried using this to clean my Sun Mountain mid-stripe stand golf bag. I spot tested using it near the bottom of the bag and observed no color wipe off. I’ve used dishwashing soap before but I’ve had this bottle a long time and it does not do a good job on my truck’s windows. It worked good on irons
Cleaned my grips, grooves, and shafts. I still need to assess which grips I have to replace. With gas heading to $10 a gallon, I don’t want to just replace them all. I took time to clean my Sun Mountain golf bag and inspect it for wear.
Pollen dusted off my Ring camera. Photo on left is before and the photo on the right is after I used this neat web brush to dust the protective acrylic cover. I can tell a difference. I need to use a damp cloth on it.
Good swing and hustle to the base. Fielder‘s choice. That’s baseball.
