The Steam Controller is quite premium. Using it with my Mac in the living room is fantastic. It’s a perfect living room PC controller and input device. That said, it looks sooo boring. Dbrand to the rescue, I guess.

I absolutely love having a Mac mini in the living room. It’s great for gaming and watching YouTube, and it runs great. No regrets buying two for the house (the other Mac mini is my studio Mac for podcasting, gaming, and everything else). Nvidia GeForce Now works a dream for non-Mac games. 😍

To reinforce the importance of the slow cook, the first photo was when I put in it the Crock Pot with BBQ sauce, onions, pressed garlic, chipotle, and hot sauce (The Last Dab, btw, perfect for batch seasoning). This photo is almost 5 hours later.

40 minutes away from finishing my 5-hour BBQ-sauce-soycurls-Crock-Pot cook for tomorrow night's dinner. The slow cook is important to fuse the sauce into the soy, but the following 16 hours in the fridge locks it in.

This is why I was so excited for Kat.

In her concession speech last night, Kat told the crowd that the campaign “fed and clothed thousands of people across the Ninth District.” That’s not a metaphor. That’s what the campaign literally did while also, by the way, raising $3.3 million (more than any other candidate in the field), almost entirely from small-dollar donors who gave $200 or less. No corporate PAC money. No call time spent begging rich people for checks. The candidate who refused to water down her values outraised everyone. That fact alone should end a few arguments about what’s supposedly necessary to fund a competitive campaign.
