This is what it looks like from the back when I’ve taken out some of the papers as I go. I try to use thin lines of glue so they hold while stitching then pop out easily.

I finished the little cat quilt with minutes to spare, all machine quilted this time, which the new Brother sewing machine managed easily even without a walking foot. The quilt was gifted to the birthday girl at her party- here she is resting on the back of it the morning after 🐈⬛ 💜 #quiltsky

Look. Sometimes, when you’re working with a remnant and there’s no more of the lovely coyote flannel in your whole country, your jacket sleeve lining has to also include seagulls stealing chips, and that’s just fine. #sewing #quiltsky
