Gay kinky nerd curler. Curling, comics, movies, etc. Batman, Godzilla, and X-Men are favorites of mine. My dog’s name is Moz (short for Mozzarella)
Found some Legion of Super-Heroes at an estate sale today. #comics #legionofsuperheroes #superman
Happy new comic book day (to those who celebrate). #xmen #superman #batman #wonderwoman #comics
Couldn’t pick just one. Batman Forever is maybe my controversial/unusual choice, but I used to have it up on my bedroom door as a kid and loved to look at it (it was probably the first movie poster I owned a copy of).
Some new comics, some old comics that are new to me. #comics #xmen #supergirl #catwoman #newmutants
Weekend comic book stuff. Returning to an attempt to read the full Claremont run I started last September with the Essential X-Men volumes, and sorting through some stuff in my collection. Revisiting some Supergirl stuff before the movie, and old X-Factor too. #comics #xmen #supergirl
Today is three years since I got my golden, Moz. Love this dog so much!
Also made it to the comic shop just before the mall closed for the day due to weather. #comics
Should have just taken the day off, but did have downtime to rearrange the bulletin board in my office (which now no longer contains anything useful for other people, but instead just photos of my dog, my friends, my friend’s dogs).
Dog walk in the snow. I’d say he enjoyed it more than I did, but I think even he got tired of the blowing snow.
My dog had another seizure today, two weeks out from the one year anniversary of his first one. His medication is making them less frequent and intense than they’ve been, but it’s still a lot to deal with. Hug and love your pets, and if they’re healthy, don’t take that for granted.
It’s been stressful this week, so I’m glad to have my dog and his other golden friends in my life to bring a bit of joy. #dogs #goldenretriever
Today is two year since I got my golden retriever, Moz. So glad to have this little guy in a my life. #dogs #goldenretriever
Pup got me up early for his morning walk, but now I get to doze off with him for a quick pre-work nap on the couch.
I’m happy DC Comics is collecting the often overlooked Batman: Year Three storyline (a fav from my early days of collecting Batman), but also wish this was being reprinted alongside A Lonely Place of Dying (which it kind of sets up/leads into), or in an edition with Death in the Family and ALPOD.
Moz and his favorite toy. I’ve had some slightly different work schedules the past two mornings, and so have had more time to play with my golden.
Post a cover from your favorite @gailsimone.bsky.social comic you think other people may not have read. The Catwoman/Tweety and Sylvester crossover by her, Inaki Miranda, and company was an absolute delight.
Along with completing some important tasks this weekend, I went to an amazing dinner prepared/hosted by my friends, and also watched three David Lynch films (embarrassed to admit, this was my first time seeing Eraserhead, though I loved it so much I ended up watching it twice). Good weekend.
Feeling gutted for my poor guy. Moz has epilepsy, and we are trying medications, which had gotten us to 24 days without a seizure. But he’s had an outbreak of five now across the past 24 hours. Taking the day off to take care of him today.
Doing the annual Christmas reread of one of my favorite comics, Batman/Catwoman by @tomking.bsky.social @claymann.bsky.social @liamsharp.bsky.social et al.
Pup crashing on the couch after successful morning walkies through the snow and cold.
