Photos today from the local press. On one side of the road are the protestors, there to say how much they hate immigrants. On the other is a counter protest, dwarfing the protest, welcoming refugees. Apparently we should be listening to the bigots though. They have reasonable concerns.
It’s an ancient one but Machievelli the Prince, a 90s top down game about trading from renaissance Venice had a very rough sketched map of the world which would be filled in as you explored, often revealing things in slightly different places, or cities that weren’t marked.
My taxi driver just now attempted to both sides the proliferation of flags with “oh, I think they’re just trying to send a message to the government”.

I’ve walked 13 miles in the last two days, and with every mile I’ve felt slightly better. Amazing what some sunshine and exercise can do.
Finished my first game of 2024, which is frankly a miracle given I finished about 3 in all of 2023. Jusant is a beautiful game about climbing a really big tower. No enemies, minimal (and entirely optional) collectibles, just lots of stuff to climb, and manages not to outstay its welcome.
Went for a three hour walk this morning and it has once again reminded me how I need long walks and green places to feel human. Please enjoy these pictures of some greenery.

Just been reminded that for some time Research in Motion, of BlackBerry fame, had their careers site on the domain rim.jobs. That led me to find this gem on Google.
