In honor of The Odyssey, I thought of a party game. Tell A Story. The screen displays a painting. You job is to tell a story based on that painting. Some stories could be banal. Some could be fantastical. Some nonsense. The point isn't the story, it's the telling.
This guy looks ambivalent, like he's content to have reached a lifelong goal but disappointed it wasn't for a real outfit.
I find the idea of *mandatory* AI absolutely hilarious. "Okay, that's some fine work you've done there. Now show us what your AI did." And then you get in trouble if you don't have anything? Utterly pointless!
This restriction on large institutional investors only applies to single family detached and duplexes. Not on four plexes or condos. (And it won't cover prefab single family detached for some odd reason.) So this won't help anyone wanting to buy in a downtown urban core.
I've recently revisited LinkedIn and it is amazing to see how much AI is used in architectural posts. From practicing architects trying to promote their work. It's sad and embarrassing. The built environment is infected from every direction.
Fire departments use these two arguments together all the time even though they are mutually exclusive.
Didn’t think this was the type of event that would merit cat ears over the structural frame.
I've long noticed from Hitman that IO models interiors to an exaggerated scale and First Light follows the same design strategy. Given that Bond is standing in the formal dining room, the kitchen has a ton of useless space. And the island is oddly small given the scale of everything else.
It’s the International Building Code which is the typical basis for most US municipal codes. There are differences in what year of the code and sometimes a city might pick and choose. But this table is a pretty vital life safety issue that isn’t compromised.
I have a food processor. I tell myself to use the food processor for pesto. But I can never bring myself to do it.
I've gone from designing multimillion dollar homes on vacant lots for no one to design multiple million dollar homes on occupied land for no one.
Moving on to lighting design since the lot is still empty and I love this kitchen design, even though I can't afford it for myself. Ah well. C'est la vie.
Making smoothies again and wanted to know exactly what I'm getting out of my favorite blueberry smoothie recipe. And it's a lot. It's no wonder this holds me over until lunch without snacking.
There are a number of viable solutions like this. Surprised they’re just coming up now.
