Continuing on with my first ever Resident Evil series playthrough with RE3 Remake! Definitely feels underrated because even with the shorter runtime, it was hell of an experience. "Jill and the naughty nemesis who never fuckin dies," is done and dusted. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Chained Together is a very challenging climbing game where you're chained to your friends! This game is a lot more reasonable and fun if you use the in menu checkpoints. Challenging but not impossible, @sarwinland.bsky.social and I #justbeatit on steam machine! @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
I get it now. Resident Evil 2 Remake playthrough B is in the books! I liked the Claire playthrough I completed earlier this year, but I loved the Leon playthrough. I can't wait to play more in the series! ...and man, that's one hell of an ending! #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Rhythm Heaven Groove is an excellent entry in this beloved Rhythm game franchise. Even after credits roll there is so much more content to uncover. I still have the co-op mode, RPG mode, and more secrets to find. This is a permanent switch 2 install. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Quote with a little-known game you would recommend. Arctic Eggs: A first person atmospheric narrative adventure game where you make eggs for weird people in a bizarre world. A surprisingly introspective and fun physics based cooking game with a tone and story unlike anything you'll ever play.
Mina the Hollower kicks ass, I loved it. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
First time. I always stop after a few worlds and never go back, not this time.
I'm now old enough to say "back in my day" all of the time and that reminds me... Back in my day the food industry loved feeding kids red and blue dye. It's more of an observation because I'm not going to lie, I would buy the Shrek branded green and purple ketchup again. I'm not above it.
Forbidden Solitaire is a fun experience that weaves unique combo-oriented solitaire into a meta horror storyline. It's not a very difficult experience and it's very satisfying to play. I love the fmv and creepypasta vibes. Highly recommended! #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Well, I finally saw credits in a 2D Zelda title. Link's Awakening deserves all the praise it gets. It's a wonderful experience and the remake makes it shine. Not much else I can say that hasn't already been said. It's good! #Justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Henry Halfhead is a hilarious sandbox game where you play as Henry throughout his life, and... You can possess anything a la Mario Odyssey's Cappy ability. This was such a blast and great for a co-op evening with @sarwinland.bsky.social! #Justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
MIO: Memories in Orbit is an incredible gated exploration title. Everything about this game's presentation is beautiful. Only downside is that the slow walk speed made some of the exploration/backtracking a little tedious - fuckin excellent game otherwise. #Justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Inscryption is incredibly unique, the secrets and meta layers peeling back slowly as the game gets more strategic. This game keeps you on your toes, I loved it. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Oh man, I may or may not regret this one, but I'm not lacking in options.
I finally gave Resident Evil 2 Remake a real try after years of not being able to get into the series. I started with the Claire playthrough and as a first timer playing I think it strikes a good balance of difficulty. Excited for the Leon playthrough! #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Seeing snow in the PNW is so nice, but holy hell it's basically spring! 😂
I upgraded my steam deck to an OLED. This thing is a dream. So much lighter, more responsive UI/system level stuff, and the screen is KILLER with deep black levels and ultra smooth 90hz. I love this thing, can't wait to play it for thousands of hours.
My Minecraft build this weekend was an old factory town building that has an industrial smelter in it and cactus farm in the back. It's been a multipurpose building and has burned down a couple times, but it has survived. Unfortunately, this year the Mangrove trees are taking it over like a weed.
Thanks for listening to at least the beginning of the latest @indiequestpod.com, Greg, you're awesome and I've listened to your content since the Beyond days ♥️ @gameovergreggy.bsky.social
Spider jockeys exist in Minecraft, so why can't we tame a spider and use it to walk on walls and stuff?
