I could’ve put Darnold in Tier 2 and Daniels has an excellent case, too. So many good starting QBs in the NFL right now.
#Panthers final defensive drive vs. the Rams wasn’t prevent defense. Combination of factors led to an underwhelming series. Not having a Devin Lloyd or quality nickel hurt MORE than losing Horn imo. Evans and Jackson did their part. The MOF was attacked constantly by McVay/Stafford (1/3).
I love this country, even though I dislike the person(s) representing it. Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸
Scary stuff. ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in him being airlifted to the hospital. Doctors performed a life-saving amputation of his left arm among the many injuries. I’m happy he’s alive and recovering. Prayers to him and his family!
I have a massive amount of respect for Ben Solak. He’s one of my favorite dudes in the football analysis space. I don’t agree with this RE. Devin Lloyd. Lloyd is playing in a similar Fangio-like structure/system that he played in for the #Jaguars. The “base” front is different.
Stukes could be a screen eraser for the #Raiders defense, such as a fun player.
Stukes is always in a position to make a play on the ball. He knows how to create leverage on the backend and close the ball at the last minute with excellent short-area quickness.
Stukes can play all over the secondary, a key to defensive coordinator Rob Leonard's unit. His closing speed and range make him an ample candidate to create versatility for the defensive backfield.
I can't wait to see Treydan Stukes with the #Raiders. Does an impressive job of staying attached and getting his head around with good positioning to secure the interception.
New #Raiders DB Treydan Stukes with an excellent third-down stop. I truly believe if he were three years younger, he would've been a Top 20 selection.
#Panthers, what questions are on your mind that you'd like answered in the upcoming mailbag!
Miles O'Neil, I apologize. I was unfamiliar with your game. 🚀💪🏼 One of the quarterbacks competing for #UNC's starting gig has a lofty arm.
Pretty impressive contact balance from Nicholas to get extra yards from the hit.
There were numerous times last season when Nicholas was open for an explosive play. Charlotte's offense was horrific up front and at QB. That's not sustainable. I think with Walker Eget and Jonathan Brewster, this could be a great playmaker.
Good job by Nicholas to sit in the blind spot in zone and attack the ball in the air. Good vertical and falls forward after the contact.
This is a good hands catcher. Nicholas does have great size and the catch radius to extend for big-time throws, but he has tough mitts that draw like a magnet. You can see the SAQ and instant burst after the catch. #BlueDevils
I know he's wide-open here, but Thurman's receiving profile is the most unique aspect of his relative inexperience. Everything is there for him to be a terrific all-around TE for the Tar Heels in 2026. #UNC
Gets to his second level landmark and gets physical. Intriguing stuff as a blocker. #UNC
Fun seal off here from Thurman to create a larger lane for the ball carrier. #UNC
Diving into some tape on #UNC transfers. Jelani Thurman is one of my favorites. Former high 4⭐️ and No. 4 TE recruit has long arms and great size with excellent flashes of blocking ability in the run game.
Quite the interaction I had on X this morning. Having a gut feeling/opinion/observation = liberal. I also wrote in the OP "my .02" as in "in my opinion/observation." This is comedy sometimes.
You'll find this spelling everywhere for him. This is on ESPN's site.
A little life update. Let’s learn some Raiders football and CFB language.
Here's my Top 50 with one month to go to the NFL Draft. Tons of variety in this draft class with no real consensus outside of Mendoza, Love, Reese, Styles, and Downs. Questions?
Some concerns I have with Hill is that he’ll bite on the play fakes hard, he’s stiff in the hips that cause transition issues into shell drops, especially if he’s a gap mugger. However, he’s pretty sufficient as a spot drop LB. Had a couple picks working the seam at times ⬇️
One thing that standouts with Hill is that you’re going to get taken down easily by him. Brings plenty of pop in his pads. Great tackle radius due to long arms. Hill’s missed tackle rate was only 4.5%, according to PFF.
Selfishly want Hill in Ejiro Evero’s defense with his pressure packages. Could be a menace as a third down blitzer in fire zone or as a looper mugging the A or B gaps.
