I read stuff and it does little to allay my confusion - but I’m comfortable with that - James Island and Gamecocks
Three little birds - my morning visitors just letting me know… 🎵every little thing's gonna be alright 🎶
My old is dog smells bad and is kinda greasy, but I can’t seem to hug and pet her enough. I wash my hands more often than covid
Sisters from another litter chillin inside from 100° heat - Luna’s face and Stella’s butt.
Two more Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool vandals arrested. So far, the terrorists have only been identified as an international table tennis champion along with his hippy girlfriend.
Developers were granted a zoning request to cut down “grand” trees (to build apartments) on Grand Oak Blvd. Is this irony? The address alone would convince me to reject it.
We are building a dock and Stella our 9 y/o Dane loves the boardwalk. This morning, she saw and disturbed a young egret. She got squawked at and then moved on - she’s neither bird dog nor a water dog. Now a squirrel might have really caught her attention!
I’m retired, but a friend sends me pictures of storms and sunrises from work - and I love him for it!
Cloudy skies, I missed the blood moon eclipse, but the hidden moon did call the in tide this morning and the fog plays nicely with the marsh.
I always enjoy your “needless” pictures. This recent boat propeller reminded me of a local yard picture I took last while cycling last year
I just noticed that this month, February, is a rectangle. I looked it up l and while I’m really late to notice (this is a big deal to calendar people), I just think it looks cool and it’s going to be 2037 until the next time it happens.
On this date in 1817 construction began on the Erie Canal in Rome, NY. The romance of a an 1800’s American barge and mule canal hits me deeply, I still love the Thomas Allen song. My favorite was Pete Seeger and now Springsteen’s version during the “Seeger Sessions”
But the best laugh came from a local company’s billboard taking advantage of the controversy
A cell transmission tower was built with shrouding to protect components from overheating it soon became known as the toilet paper tower and became a local running TP joke.
