I have felt "holed up" Between my father's death and Smoke from Canada Grieving has been like waves near a beach. Sometimes they crash hard along the shore, and other times they creep up the sand and suddenly you realize your feet are wet. Quiet moments are harder.

Tiny things appear Too small to notice, and yet The world need them all

I'm only crying Because there were more trees here When they came last spring (I already started replanting the corner of my yard to repair the damage done, and have noticed many hickory and sugar maple saplings. I just hate starting over.)
