Whereas instead they’re more like this place… it’s just up the river from the town I live in and yesterday the man behind it came and ferried barrow load after barrow load of woodchip into our new community garden, for free, in the heat! We love him and his food forest! rodmellfoodforest.org
It is just such a stunning view from our cliffs either across the downs or out to sea…even the water looked like it’s going to be hot though!!

I wondered and so I went and had a look. 30l per day would be a very productive cow. The average, assuming they’re producing milk every day, is around 23l!! Which is nearly 2.5kg of cheese per cow per day! It’s no wonder cheese is expensive!! #TheArchers
Good morning all, busy day ahead for me. Including completing operation coolth, which I started yesterday… indoor shade sail under the plastic roof in the kitchen. And later I have a portable air conditioner/fan thing that is low enough wattage to run on my solar generator! Excited!
“Her eyes are a blue million miles” is one of the best lines ever I think. And “Beans, I run on beans, laser beans”! Or was that Zappa?! 😂😂
It was extra special! The bulbs coped though… and came back beautiful this year, thank goodness.
Bonjour… off for a walk with the dogs… at least once Toby decides he might get up! And when I’ve finished my coffee. I think Zak (the other dog) is most likely waiting at the kitchen door already! Happy Tyr’s day all.

I had a Welsh Mountain pony, lots of similar characteristics to Shetlands, and throwing me off at the furthest point from home and then trotting ahead of me just out of reach was his favourite 😂😂 #TheArchers
