Today is the 1st day we’ve gotten serious rainstorms in weeks. T has been in a cone for about a week and only went on short walks until today. He was more than ready to trot in the light rain on a few walks today. His eyebrows look outstanding in that red raincoat. Cutie pie. #minischnauzermix
After the rain, there is lovely green hues everywhere. Dog walking life. My pup.
T has his first grooming visit today and is looking all dapper and feeling good!
So I went back to my family tree and found that there is a more complete reference to my 13th great grandfather Inca Atahualpa (king)and corrected the link. With the correction came many more generations of Incas going back to the 1100’s. 🤯 (More in replies)
It’s been raining for several days here and walks have been getting soggy for both me and my pup. I came across some rain pants that I forgot I had and I got Thelonious to finally accept the hood on one of this coats. We came across a small creek that seemed more like a river today vs the other day.
Exploring while out on a neighborhood walk we saw some beautiful sights. (Do not repost my personal photos)
They’ve finally starting to snuggle next to each other without any grumbles, lip curls, bites or other expressions of discomfort. They’re actually touching each other. Epic. There’s real love between these two. It’s so good to see.
Got mail when I got back from a walk with my pup, and got a letter that I now have medical insurance. It’s nice to have it without it being tied to a workplace. One of the wonderful things about Canada. No more worrying about being uninsured.
Last few from English Bay Beach and one of Thelonious enjoying at cat toy at home.
Indigenous presence, of the Inukshuk, at English Bay Beach. The four directions and the window to the world are similar to the my Quechua ancestral cosmology. We are relatives.
My pup and I have been enjoying exploring parks and getting to know the Vancouver metro area. It’s really beautiful here and the majority of Canadians have been kind. Reconnecting with what it means to be Canadian.
Meet Thelonious, the newest member of my family. #parsonsterrier #terriermix #furchild
I spent time amongst “millki” trees/Quechua. It’s been a year+ since I last stood here with my dog. My sweetie crossed the 🌈 bridge a year ago. I felt his and the trees presence here. It was good to touch the tree & lean on it for strength while feeling the sun on my face. Listening to Andean music.
Ok, LA. I rescued a cat that had been hanging out in our apartment parking. He now is with a rescue and got neutered today. No microchip. FIV positive. We dubbed him Mr. Handsome because he is precisely that. If anyone can foster or adopt him, please DM me. You'll go through vetting.

Indigenous flag from the Andes. My flag of my ancestral land. My indigenous ancestors were here thousands of years before the Europeans. No to racist, white supremacist, illegitimate governments.
This kitty has been hanging out by my parking spot. I hope I can get him neutered and vaccinated soon. He’s very friendly after food and water. I’m looking for someone to foster him. Will contact some rescues.
We are waiting in case we have to evacuate. Fire in Altadena and Pasadena is getting bigger. Winds will be a factor all night. Ash falling from the sky is like snow. Send positive vibes to us in Los Angeles. I hope people and their pets make it to safety. #losangelesfires #altadenafire #eatoncanyon
Hey everyone! Kicking off my bsky account with a photo of a beautiful sunset in SoCal. It was a beautiful sight during such a challenging time. It's easier to tune into the natural world while peddling around on my e-bike. Enjoy. #ebike #radpowerbikes #socal #sunset
