Some of my friends live up North, if you’d like a longer trip.
In theory, Felicia’s Journey (1999) ought to be a good film: Strong cast, good director, lots of awards. It is, however, a *terrible* first date movie. (No, there was not a second date.)
I once paid actual money to watch Rancid Aluminium (2000) in a cinema. Fortunately, the cinema had a bar, so I was able to soften the film’s awfulness with beer.
American doesn’t remember what he was meant to be doing in Paris.
Sam Neill does an excellent star turn in the first episode of sci-fi TV drama Invasion, and then never appears in a single subsequent episode. A shameful bait ’n’ switch by the producers. He brought his usual quality, which they were never able to replicate in his absence.
Not bothered about a new Sherlock. I want to see them in a reboot of Derek and Clive.
Yes #DuoLingo, that’s definitely a word I’ll frequently use in everyday conversation…
Hilarious that a third of the article is just assuring the readers, “No, really, he *was* an actor. On the Telly and everything.”
It’s on the wall of the Harriet Tubman Museum in Cambridge, MA. (But maybe there’s an exact copy in London.)
Assuming Clacton has some disillusioned former Faragists, and a low turnout, a Count Binface victory isn’t impossible.

Of its 250 year existence, the United States of America has been at war with *somewhere* for 230 years. For four years, it was at war with *itself.* Anyway, happy birthday. #July4th
These two faces are exactly the same shape. Only the shading and contrast have been changed.
Alfred Hitchcock didn’t built an entire Greenwich Village block on a soundstage, complete with four different lighting setups for different times of day, and water tanks on the roof to simulate a rain storm just so you could tell me… etc… etc…
I’m glad these old pop stars are finding ways to stay relevant, by fighting crime…
If you see this, post a pic from your device with no explanation.
Managing to vibe on both “ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer” and “Blut und Boden” in the same tweet about football is a hell of a flex from the American Reich. Not even hiding it.
Weird to be winning my diamond league with a score that wouldn’t get into the top three most weeks. #DuoLingo #HumbleBrag
Just remembered David Hockney’s Piccadilly Circus tube sign. Genius-level punkin’.
