Th Queen Elizabeth loading heavy fuel oil and marine gas oil in Seattle this morning. Owned by Carnival, the QE uses dirty fuel and open loop exhaust scrubbers in Alaska waters - but not in Washington state, where they have agreed to only use the marine gas oil which doesn’t require scrubbers.
