InDesign users, I just found out about this: Since early this year (maybe earlier), InDesign will automatically put AI-generated alt text on your photos along with the line “AI-Generated content” (which refers to the alt text not the image but that’s confusing to see). Turn it off in settings.
This is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
I started a blog talking about daily puzzle games called "Indexing the Dailies" check it out at www.indexingthedailies.com. The first real post is about Wordle. Will be featuring other different daily puzzle games soon!
Small child who runs up to you while you’re making breakfast: “Do you have games on your smart egg?”
I have *finally* caught up on Game Changer after like, a year of saying I'd catch up to Game Changer.
I wrote a Pride-themed hunt-style word puzzle! See the full puzzle here: drive.google.com/file/d/15YPe... Get a copy of the Google Sheet version here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets... Check your answer here: www.callingit.in/1/#IPyxsheBi...
Two things I love: fonts and the New York City Subway wayfinding system (omg trains <3). If each ward of Winnipeg was treated in the same way as the lines in the MTA this is what it might look like.
The Winnipeg Centennial's Visual Identity Saga Part 3. Revised what I had originally made now with the right font of Futura Display. It's pretty close to the original, I believe. Might need some touch-ups but this is what I've got so far. Will be exploring it a little more later.
Update: found out from a bit of research that the official font of the 1974 Winnipeg Centennial was Futura Display. Going to update my recreation of the logo soon!
A few months ago I found this patch from the 1974 Winnipeg Centennial in an antiques store. I really liked how it looked and when I tried to research the visual identity a bit more I couldn’t find anything so I decided to recreate it. Going to try to make mockups for this. Stay tuned.
I filmed this stupid video 15 years ago after finishing editing and designing a 512-page academic journal late at night at University. www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/p2zvu...
Since 2022, I've been making a bunch of playlists for myself. I called the collection "Everybody Makes Mixtapes" and put it on my website here: portfolio.justinladia.com/playlists

And just for funzies, here's the graphic in its full glory. Note: this was made in 2021 so I KNOW there's going to be opinions and comments on its completeness and relevance today.
Mobile ads that take up 95% of the screen are egregious and should be banned. I expected this from Fandom wikis but never The Guardian.
I've been called weird to my face and in text. I've heard people calling me weird in conversation with other people while I'm there, three feet away. Listen, I didn't ask to be weird. That's just how my brain works. If you don't want to be around it, then don't. Anyway, here's more Bloop.
"Don't make it weird"? Don't tell me what to do, Brenda. I'll do what I want and you'll like it.
