It all started with a blue cap. Then five.
Then ten. Twenty. Fifty.
Who knew the rumors were true?
Wealth was a drug and his companions were higher than fiends. The Ghoul was expected. However, he didn't expect Lucy would catch the bug, too. She was all about the good they could do with the money, of course. Excited at the thought of helping those less fortune, rebuilding society in the image of the old world.
She smiled considering how well fed they'd all be, how much medicine they could hang on to, not to mention the stockpile of armor and yet another cold fusion diode. He was

convinced it would follow him forever. Blue and cool to the touch.
Everything that paid off for him came wrapped in blue packaging. The caps, the diode, Lucy, and, now that he knew him better, the Ghoul. Underneath his rags and dirt there was blue.
It was right he was the only one in red.
Temptation, passion, and the warning of what both would end in. No one cared for modesty anymore. It was a waste of time when people were fighting for their basic needs.
The only way the Brotherhood was able to instill that modesty in every initiate from the lustiest libertine to the cautiously curious was precisely because of its structure. They had what they needed and nothing more, so it wasn't given a second thought. That wasn't to mention the stricter scribes who insisted on purity above anything else.
So when skin was all any of them were aware of, Maximus was out of his element.

i just realized i made this on thanksgiving and forgot to share how rude

tofu roast prepared according to the above recipe thread (marinated, glazed, and baked with orange slices)

i did double the portions, so there are two blocks of thoroughly seasoned tofu in a white pan

also, last year i ended up putting the equivalent of ground cloves into the glaze instead of piercing the tofu with whole cloves because the store ran out

one danger with whole cloves is if you pull them out too fast the stem will break off and stay in your food

yes that happened with these blocks, but at least it was tasty

1️⃣3️⃣ Curried Chickpea Sandwich

Curried chickpea sandwich
Ingredients:
• 2 14.5 oz can chickpeas (or 3 cups)
• 1/3 cup mayo (for vegan, I recommend
Just Mayo)
• 1.5 tbsps lemon juice
• 2 tsps garlic powder
• 2-3 tsps garam masala mix
• 2 tsps turmeric powder
• 1/2 cup diced onion (or 1/2 tbsp onion powder)
• 1/4 cup raisins
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Bread, for serving (optional)
Directions:
1. Start by mashing the chickpeas and mayo so that some of the beans turn into a paste while others are left intact.
2. When the beans are mashed to your desired consistency, add in the lemon juice and spices and stir to combine.
3. When the spices are evenly distributed, fold in the raisins.
4. Best served chilled on rye bread or a baguette.

Lucy whimpered, squeezing her thighs together even tighter. "There must be some— someone that can help here. It's just… it's so…"

It freaking burned. Like nothing she'd ever felt before. It made the few UTI's she'd had when she was very little look like childplay's in comparison. And it was gross! With great, big green and yellow pustules…
