FINALLY I can play this card without the jaring old UB border that looks like abysmal dogshit next to cards with a normal frame
You can also evoke mulldrifter and stack the triggers so it draws you the cards first and then tries to sac itself after, so you draw the 2 cards and then ephemerate before it can sac so it flickers, draws you 2 more cards, and comes back forever since the flicker'd copy does remember it was evoked
You can target archaeomancer with it to grab any spell out of your yard at instant speed, and then when you get the rebound cast next turn, if you target her again she can grab that ephemerate out of the yard letting you keep getting it back
I love the snow frame with the white border they used for the snow basics in MB2 so much, I recently white-border'd some of the khaldeim duals to match! They're not perfect but having visual consistency in my skred deck feels sooooo nice
Across the last 3 pauper weeklies im 10-0-2 with Jeskai ephemerate! This decks the truth and ephemerate is an absolute mystake of a magic card
Playing pauper the other day I cast snap on a Spiderman and went "i dont feel so good" While I did get a laugh out of it, that monent just left me feeling like I need to start looking for a new card game
4-0 with Jeskai ephemerate at pauper locals last night! Ive been messing around with all sorts of sideboard tech and now im sold on Goliath Paladin, I didnt know when/were to board him in for a bit, but I got to resolve him against dimir terror and it felt incredible
Me when I mess up the fabric of space and time and everyone thinks im a bad dad now
ended up 2-2 overall, the deck just felt like it fell apart in the later games. I love that whiteout lets you cheat how many cards you need in hand to combo, but the bad manabase felt like it got in my way every single game. Overall real happy to get to play the deck again, it just needs some work
My lgs started running tuesday pauper events! I know its been pushed out of the meta but I couldnt resist the urge to play Azorious tribe again and its running HOT 2-0 so far against boggles and madness burn
I havent been keeping up with this set so im a little late seeing it but OH MY GOD NEW TOOK I love Peregrin Took's first ability, but his 2nd ability is so good and combos with everything, its stronger than im shooting for in a lot of decks, im real excited to have this effect a little toned down
A few of my favorite abilities ive stolen with brewmaster Any mana dork is amazing, ive used brewmaster to net 100+ mana few times Also notably, if you have multiple food-typed artifacts, stealing welders ability lets them get eachother back infinitely
psst mods might be awake but post your favorite card that is completely innocent and hasn't done anything silly at a commander table whatsoever If I ever kill a random creature at an odd time, its probably because im holding brewmaster and im planning to wear your guy's skin

FWA was so much fun!! It was the first fur con ive made it out to and im soooo glad I did! Sad to see it over, but I'll certainly be trying to make it out to the next one. Also managed to get at least one commander game together right at the tail end of the con!

I ended up 2-0-2! The blue splash didnt feel super worth it but overall the list was real fun! I was going in hoping for pest shenanigans and I got to do so much of that

I woke up with food poisoning today and it made me think, this lil guy is super underrated and absolutely scares the hell out of me
Gilded goose is easily my favorite card in the game and I managed to snag an AP of her and her egg today!!
