They Will Kill You F'n yikes! Silly, Fun, and unapologetically gory and over-the-top. Ya gotta go with these kinds of films. Congrats to all involved on such an original story!

Florida Man on Netflix. They're trying to be inclusive with a deaf actor in a few scenes. He uses ASL. His friend in the scene speaks aloud, implying that he reads lips, I guess. The friend proceeds to pace back and forth while talking, facing away from the deaf guy half the time. My dudes....

The Odyssey (2026). This is what going to the movies should mean: visually sumptuous, Acting (most notably John Leguizamo and Anne Hathaway), stunning effects, brimming with story, and a haunting score.

When I was a kid, a fridge with a water/ice dispenser was the epitome of wealth. Looking back, a pool table in the basement also made the list.

Big Mistakes (2026) on Netflix is entertaining - you can feel these relationships. It is a stressful show, and is cathartic in that (most likely) our problems are not their problems. I love a project where the characters make all (or most of) the "best possible" decisions. And it's still bananas.

The Boroughs (2026) on Netflix is a charming, engaging adventure. I appreciate these projects that spotlight the lives of elders (I acknowledge that this does not depict a typical retirement....)
