Grumpy

A grey pebble about the size of a small conker with a downturned crack where a mouth would be and a divot on its top left that looks like an eye. It's smooth and a bit shiny.

Not a church but... 😢

A modern, very ugly redevelopment of an old building where they've kept the façade and built through it. The big windows of the old building have been blocked up and the new, tiny windows puncture through them at what feels like random, because the proportions of the new construction don't reflect those of the original.

Anyway here's me giving it full forehead being happy in front of the pride flag in the window of our local community centre. The Gregson in Lancaster if you're in the area.

Here is the little blackbird sitting on her eggs that we discovered over the weekend. She's been out there all day in the rain looking grumpy. We're keeping an eye on her and making as sure as we can no cats get near her. She is extremely feisty though: Daph runs away when she's yelling
