As I settle down on this cold night on my floor with no electricity in SWVA, I am thinking of those of us who’ve been murdered by ICE. WE HAVE FRIENDS EVERYWHERE! We will show up. #CRUSHICE We are everywhere. Sleep well, friends, we have work to do tomorrow.

If you let some random weeds grow, i.e. stop mowing a patch for two years in succession, beneficial bugs will arrive (including Monarchs), birds will flourish in the habitat, raptors will come, unexpected mammals will show up occasionally. Edge habit is healthy for the planet. These are 11’ tall.😍

I built a nice, crackling fire at home after a protest gathering this damp afternoon. FUCKelon and his tiny dog donnie. We have community. ✨🥰 I saw a hundred other folks I know who are now activists. I’m alright. Also, cornbread 🍽️🐐
