Finally my book project is moving to illustrations. I’ve been writing it for so long (considering it’s not that long of a story), I’ve had days when I felt like it won’t get finished before I decompose.
I was dogsitting my big brother’s wiener dog this weekend. I thought my walkie fashion was on point.
Drawing little critters sleeping is one of my favourite things. I like sleeping in general. I’ll go to bed. Good night. 🫰
I’ve been on a holiday this week, which I’ve spent working on my own pieces and checking out some horror game let’s plays. 🤣 I watched Dead Signal VODs while working on this. Eepy kitties. No worries in the world.
Cleaned up and painted an old sketch. The Great Lynx is helping little Theo carry some twigs. She’s nice like that.
A request by @angelegg.bsky.social of their very goth and very cute bunny, Rox.
I’m on a roll! 🥁 I wanted to share this recipe I was taught at kindy in 1998. I can’t remember who the lady was who showed me this secret method, but I owe her a lot. In Finnish it’s called sämpyläkissa. Now go and draw your own bread roll cats!
Where are you heading to? TabbyTaxis will take you there! In one piece, of course.
Which weirdly drawn Chiikawa are you? I’m vibing with 3. I don’t even know That much about Chiikawa, just the basics, but you know, sometimes you just gotta draw what you gotta draw.
Been busy with work and haven’t had time to do much to contribute, but see you at Helsinki Pride tomorrow!
Instead of my annual midsummer illustrations, have this study. Referenced #trueref Doing anatomy or any fundamental studies is a great way to get that sweet line mileage, when you have the urge to draw, but your creative batteries have run dry. Then slap a cat face on it and call it a day. 🌞
Sketched my favourite fishy cat. I’ve been working hard for others, so I wanted to draw something just for myself. No pressure, no expectations. You there in the back row. Yes, yes, you. 🫵 Don’t. I’ll slap you.
The last year I’ve been freelancing for The School Magazine, an Australian government owned publication. It’s been a lot of fun and I wanted to share one of my favourite illustrations I’ve done so far! Got it in mail today and I’m happy how the colours look printed!
I was trying to come up with ideas for this year’s pride illustration, but head empty, no thoughts.
